Identity Management

We focus on creating comprehensive IdM solution that enables automated control and manage identities throughout their lifecycle across linked company systems. As the part of the solution we consider the preparation of conditions for long-term support and service system development.

Each company and organization operates with identities. Generally, we consider as the identity any physical or legal person who is identifiable in the organization by a unique identifier such as ID card, company ID, account number, identification smart card. Upon verification of identity company provides to carriers (user identity) services to the extent of legal or contractual relationship between the company and the identity user's. However identity user, could be confident that the expense for provided services will not be used (and usually charged) by someone else.

Implementation of a software system support of Identity Management is an asset in the following areas:

  • the possibility of automatic creation and centralized management of user accounts - it is suitable for companies that manage large number of user accounts in multiple systems;
  • central control of user access privileges to applications and data in accordance with relevant regulations of the organization - users have access to applications and data based on defined roles and rules;
  • support for users to manage their own user account without the intervention of the central administration - users can change their password and possibly also attributes of their own identity;
  • reduce of the administrative burden associated with managing user accounts - automated processes and workflow associated with the life cycle of identity, including blocking access and automatic cancellation of invalid user accounts;
  • the availability of intelligent routing of approval procedures for handling requests for access to information resources;
  • reporting and audit policies and processes - the availability of audit mechanisms, and mechanisms for automatic generation of reports;
  • the possibility of delegated management of a large number of user accounts;
  • enhancing secure access to information in accordance with security policy - the usage of IdM policies are access rights and protect sensitive information consistently implemented in any operating system, application and data repository, applications and storage permit, ie, they are equipped with interfaces for communication with other IS.

Identity Management is considered as a system integration solution. The aim of our comprehensive approach is to ensure:

  • improve and streamline identity management within the company information system;
  • internal consistency of life-cycle of identities (e.g. employees) to the processes of the company;
  • compliance lifecycle external identities (e.g., customers, partners, public) processes with the services provided by the company;
  • further developing of IdM solution in accordance with the development of company in the future.

 

A specialized Identity Management team for providing solutions in all areas necessary for successful complex solution:

  1. Consultation, analysis and design IDM solutions - these activities are considered a key factor in effective solutions. The output of partial deliveries are, for example, IdM feasibility studies, process analysis, design new processes related to identity in connection with the introduction of IdM, the conceptual system designs, and other IdM solutions;
  2. Technical implementation of IdM - construction of a particular solution is based on the concept of IdM system approved by the customer. For the technical implementation of specific solutions, we use Sun Java ™ System Identity Manager, which provides operations related to the establishment, alteration and dissolution of identities and synchronizing identity information across all systems connected to the IDM. According to the approved design solution to implement any other solution for products from the portfolio of SUN products (such as Access Manager, Sun Directory Server Enterprise Edition, etc.);
  3. Project management and system integration -  we consider project preparation, planning, monitoring risk and project management method with regard to the possibilities and limitations of the customer as a key factor in the successful implementation of the project. When designing and implementing project management methods and procedures we use aproach verifyed by the effectiveness of long-standing practice. During  building of IdM we expecting agile software development and the gradual introduction of functional sub-units into routine operation. Project management and system integration are an integral part of the comprehensive IdM delivery system throughout the life cycle of solution delivery.
