Applications Monitoring

Monitoring is an essential part of the supervision, administration and monitoring of the quality of ICT services. Targeted monitoring tools are no longer used just to facilitate and improve operations and technology and optimize operations of critical applications, but its modularity extend into the supervision over the quality of services provided by ICT.

This trend is obviously due to the fact that running a business can not be imagined without the ICT technologies. Core business processes are supported by critical applications. ICT is becoming a commodity for which is vital to ensure a broad portfolio of high quality services and measurable quality criteria. Basic distribution of monitoring tools:

  1. Powerful licensed modular systems from reputable manufacturers - KOMIX specializes in HP Business Availability Center. These tools are of course also provide maintenance under the rules of the manufacturer.
  2. Open Source tools - most representative is Nagios monitoring tool. KOMIX deliver this tool to  the customer with a special script (plug-in) for the monitoring of selected parameters and infrastructure nodes, applications, DB, etc.
  3. Using CA Wily tools for monitoring and optimization of JEE applications.

Monitoring tools are available in various forms:

  • Turn key Delivery with the subsequent technical support;
  • ASP - Services provided by our own monitoring system. Outcomes and evaluation from monitoring system are done by customer personnel;
  • Full outsourcing.
