KOMIX, SAP and HP have opened new demo-center for SAP testing
In mid-June in Prague was opened new demo-center for SAP testing, which was created through cooperation of KOMIX, SAP and HP. The aim of this joint project is primarily to show customers the option of streamlining the process of SAP testing to achieve optimization in the field of testing and how to support the process of testing by effective software tools. Demo-center services will include both regular free seminars and events tailored to the specific customer requirements.
Demo-center services will take place at two levels. The aforementioned trio of companies will hold regular half-day seminars, which will be for registered participants for free. Program covering various areas of testing is currently scheduled until spring of next year and will be revisited and updated to suit customer needs and preferences. Current topics of seminars are as follows:
- Basics of functional testing using SAP Quality Center by HP;
- Automate testing of SAP using the HP Business Process Testing and SAP TAO;
- Load testing of SAP using SAP LoadRunner by HP;
- Preparing of test data with SAP TDMS;
- Organization and management of tests using SAP Solution Manager - connection to the SAP Quality Center by HP;
- Functional testing using SAP SM.
Second main focus of the new demo-center will be events organization according to specific customer requirements focused on demonstration of solutions from participating companies. In this case, correct methodology to solve the problem will be presented to the customer by a professional consultant.
The whole demo-center is activity of participating companies KOMIX, HP and SAP. KOMIX brings to demo-center project knowledge and experience in testing and monitors automatic, loading and manual functional testing. At the same time facilitates and manages the environment and preparing demonstration projects.
SAP in the project provides know-how in the field of ERP, methodologies and knowledge of business processes. SAP provides its products and licensesof their products and is involved in the installation and maintenance of the environment. HP brings to the demo-center project knowledge and experience in testing tools area and provides tools licenses to support testing.
