The introduction of basic registries in the public administration in 2011 unified the database that had hitherto been built by each institution separately. However, this raised a new problem: “How can this simple structure be connected with a very diverse set of agenda information systems using these data to support separate work processes?” In some institutions, these systems number in the hundreds and the technical means of their communication with individual records had hitherto been similarly diverse. It is impossible to reliably predict the future, but those who better perceive linkages and the complexity of the current situation can more easily make decisions and foresee future development. The task of managers in every company is to best evaluate the given enterprise’s condition and position on the market as well as opportunities and threats. Every major change is signalled by indicators that precede it. A tool developed by KOMIX helps to manage and administrate the successful Green Savings grant programme, which was launched in 2009, receiving a great deal of attention from the public as it is an expression of the Czech Republic’s contribution to the global effort to improve the state of the environment.
