Vitalitas pojišťovna receives new mobile application from KOMIX

KOMIX s.r.o. has developed a new mobile application called Lyžař (“Skier”) for the insurance firm Vitalitas pojišťovna, a.s. that is intended for arranging short-term and long-term travel insurance and comprehensive insurance for winter sports activities. In addition to arranging insurance, the application enables paying for it by card. It is now possible to conclude an insurance policy quickly and easily from anywhere. The application is intended for mobile telephones with the Android operating system and can be downloaded free of charge from the Google Play website.

“The great advantage of travel insurance arranged via the mobile application is that all important information about the travel insurance is stored right in the policyholder’s mobile telephone. The policyholder does not have to print anything – the insurance contract and the card with the policy number are stored directly in the application on the policyholder’s mobile telephone. Furthermore, the general terms and conditions of the given products and the telephone contact to the infoline and assistance service are also stored in the application. Policyholders thus have all important information about their insurance with them at all times,” Martin Lipš, project manager at KOMIX.
