Martin Podveský becomes new Business Consultant at KOMIX

KOMIX has welcomed a new member to its consulting team, Martin Podveský, who has joined the company in the position of Senior Business Consultant. Martin will be responsible for the development of existing and new KOMIX products and the application thereof primarily in the state and public administration.

Martin Podveský previously worked as a deputy director of the Informatics Department (for five years) and later as the manager of the customs declaration system project (approx. nine years) at the General Customs Directorate, where among other things he participated in formulating the overall concept of IT development within the customs administration, including at the EU level, serving in several working groups established by the DG TAXUD (General Directorate of the Taxation and Customs Union).

“After many years in the state administration, I sought a new field of employment and impetus for my further development. I have long known KOMIX from the customer side and it is a very good and technically advanced firm, so I welcomed the offer to be a Senior Business Consultant,” says Podveský.

Martin Podveský is a graduate of the Masaryk University School of Law in Brno. His hobbies include travel, crime films and literature, and listening to jazz and rock music.
