QlikView – assessed as the best tool in the area of Business Intelligence by the users

According to the world´s largest independent survey "The BI Survey 13" from German company BARC, the  QlikView tool was top-ranked within all Business Intelligence (BI) tools. The products of a range of BI tools suppliers are investigated and reviewed according to 27 different criteria. The QlikView solution of company Qlik has achieved an excellent result – its assessment in all investigated areas was higher than the average, it was ranked to the third place in 22 areas, out of it ranked first in 7 areas. No other of the products being compared achieved such a result.

The best assessment was given to QlikView tool in terms of performance and the capability of analysing and investigating data. “QlikView disposes a unique in-memory technology which enables the users to analyse data quickly – responses to the inquires are within seconds even when having over hundred million records or thousands users. QlikView supports a wide range of mathematical, analytical, logical or statistical functions including what-if and comparable analysis,“ says Tomáš Třmínek, Senior Sales Manager in KOMIX s.r.o. which is a supplier of the QlikView tool for the Czech Republic.

The QlikView tool obtained very good assessment also in terms of graphic environment (dashboard) and the support of collective decision making. “QlikView offers many types of graphs, tables and their variants. Working with it is very simple. In addition, the user environment disposes of a range of tools enabling the users to share analyses, reports and communicate with other users. Working with the  QlikView application on mobile devices is  matter of course,“ said Třmínek.

In the 13th anniversary of the “BI Survey” 3 149 respondents were interviewed who assessed 30 different BI product or products groups. The respondents review the  BI tools from a range of aspects as for instance business benefits, cost, percentage of users using this product, competitiveness, the willingness to deliver the product, performance, the ability of innovation, overall satisfaction and users´ preference.
