Tomáš Rutrle named new general manager of KOMIX

As of 1 January 2013 Tomáš Rutrle is the new general manager of KOMIX s.r.o., which focuses on providing comprehensive information-system solutions and IT services. He has taken over the position of general manager from Petr Kučera, who had managed KOMIX since the company was founded in 1992 and brought it to a position of prominence among the main players on the domestic IT market in the face of strong competition from foreign and domestic providers of IT solutions.

Ing. Tomáš Rutrle brings to KOMIX a wealth of experience from the field of information and communication technologies, which he gained at Fujitsu Technology Solutions, s.r.o., where he worked from 2003 to 2010 as the general manager for the Czech Republic, and at Siemens, initially as business director of the communication networks division and later, from 2001, as the regional sales manager of Siemens AG in Munich, where he was responsible for projects involving mobile GSM networks in various European countries. Mr. Rutrle has worked as a consultant in the IT field for the past two years.

Tomáš Rutrle is a graduate of the Czech Technical University in Prague and the MBA programme of Sheffield Hallam University. He speaks English, German and Russian. He is married and has four children.
